Privacy Policy

Information the app uses
Most dog-profile information is kept on your device. This can include your dog's name, breed, age, health and vulnerability answers, saved places, walk logs, local notes, and photos you choose for a profile.
When you choose to use location-based features, the app sends your selected or current location to our service to provide local weather, air-quality, map, nearby-veterinary, and route information. Location is used in the foreground; the app does not request background location access.
If you ask us to create a dog avatar, the selected photo is sent to our service and an image-generation provider. To prepare a dog-safety assessment, the app can send dog-derived assessment details such as breed, age, and respiratory or other vulnerability answers to an AI provider. It is designed not to send your dog's name, address, exact coordinates, or photo to that AI provider for the assessment.
If you choose to enable safety telemetry, the app sends operational events and safety-risk measurements. Location in that telemetry is deliberately coarsened to a grid cell rather than retained as your exact coordinate. You can turn this sharing off in the app at any time.
Why we use it
We use this information to calculate and explain dog-safety guidance, find nearby places, provide maps and routes, create a requested avatar, operate subscriptions, diagnose reliability issues, and improve the app.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to operate our service and store generated avatars, Neon to store operational telemetry, Google Maps and Routes for map and place features, Open-Meteo for weather data, FAL for requested image generation, OpenRouter for the assessment AI feature, and RevenueCat together with Apple or Google for subscriptions and purchase entitlements. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services or as their own terms and privacy notices require.
Google Maps Platform features are also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising and sharing
Loppy does not sell personal information, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not use your information for cross-app or cross-site behavioural advertising. We do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Storage, choices, and deletion
Profile data remains on your device unless you use a feature that sends it to our service. Generated avatars may be stored in our Cloudflare storage and opted-in operational telemetry may be stored in Neon. We do not currently apply an automatic deletion deadline to that server-side data. We delete it after a verified deletion request, unless retention is required by law or needed to resolve a security or service issue.
You can decline optional permissions. Removing the app removes its local app data from the device. To request deletion of server-side information, email admin@zipline.agency with “Loppy data deletion” in the subject and enough information for us to locate the requested data, such as an avatar URL or a subscription support reference. Loppy does not require an account, so we may need this information to identify anonymous records.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS for communications with our service. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
Your rights and questions
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Contact admin@zipline.agency for privacy questions or requests.
